Little miss independant

This is the second time i've tried to post this. Hopefully it'll work this time! Grr! Here are some vids of heidi playing and ignoring me. She is just being so independant lately. She just crawls anywhere she wants and doesn't pay me any attention. : ( Thats how i know she's getting to be a big girl. Already? What is a mother to do?? (Sorry the vids are a little grainy)

At the country store

Heidi and i frequently go to this country store. It really reminds me of my dads store up in the Jemez mountains, so i love it. Its just a really homey feeling. So anyways, we got a couple of pics infront of it to send to my dad. I think he'd like it.

House

So i finally got some pics of the house. Not all of them, but i got pics of the outside before and after, and the front room. Unfortunately, i did not get a before pic of the front room. I thought i could go on the realtors web site and get pics, but since we bought the property, they dont' have it on there anymore. Oh well. Anyways, just imagine maroon carpet in the front room. We still have alot to do with the house, but atleast we started.

Heidi is starting to walk in her walker. Finally! I've been waiting for this for a while now. She's been walking backwards for a while, but now she's finally walking forward...and sideways. haha. I can't wait till she's walking on her own! My This is for you mom! : )

Trapped

Josh and i thought it would be funny for Heidi to crawl into her clothes hamper. So we set a trap. She LOVES the light on her timer. So we pushed on the light on her timer and put it in her hamper. She crawled right in. Hahah. : )

Getting into trouble!

Heidi has been getting into everything lately. Yesterday morning, she was taking a nap, and i was eating a pudding cup. All of a sudden, she woke up from her nap and was trying to get out of her swing. So, i put the pudding cup(finished, but still had a little in it)by her swing and hurried to pick her up so she wouldn't fall out. Well, i got sidetracked, and left the pudding cup by her swing, not thinking about how she gets into everything. Later on, i was on the computer and had my eyes on the computer for a minute. I looked up and saw Heidi licking the inside of the pudding cup! It got all over her fingers and pajamas! Crazy girl! Later on that same day, i fed her some baby food. It got all over her swing and clothes. For some reason, it was just really thin and not all of it ended up in her mouth! What a mess.

Heidi's favorite thing is Paper! She loves it! She will play with it for like 5 minutes shaking it and crinkling it up. Its so cute. She also likes to play with things for a minute and then throw them to the side like she's bored with it and doesn't want it anymore. : P

Her new toy

Heidi has a new toy. Its just an empty crackers box, but she will be occupied with it for like 10 minutes! She's so silly. She also likes playing with the lotion bottle. I'm glad she's so easily amused! Its wonderful. Josh and i watched movies on the couch all day yesterday, and she just entertained herself most of the time. She's such a good little girl! She is also getting good at coming up to me and begging. Its so cute!

Ok...so the other day, josh was playing with heidi, and i guess he caught her off gaurd while taking a picture and she made these silly faces. I guess she was just almost blinking, but its still silly.

Crawling fast

My sweet girl is getting so big! And crawling so fast! She's going to have a fun time crawling on the carpet in our new house! I'm so excited that we got a house. I've been dreaming of this for a long time. The house is amazing. With a carport and wonderful porch. The only thing is, there's big fat bees flying EVERYWHERE...and i HATE bees. Is there a spray for bees, or just wasps? Anyways, i guess i better start packing.
Mom and John, Robyn, Heath and the kids all went to ABQ this past week. I really wish i could've gone. I miss ABQ. But i also miss Texas. I really hope i can go visit my mom again sometime soon.

Dallas

Dallas was a blast! I sure wish it was longer than a week, but we made best of the time we had. Well, atleast starting wednesday. Before then, Heidi was really cranky and wouldn't go to mom and john. I had to take her to the doctor while we were there. That was no fun...but soon after, she got better. I think she had allergies while we were there. She's doing much better now and she's not breathing funky like she was in Dallas. I'm so glad that she finally went to mom and John. Thanks guys, for giving me a little break for a while. I love my daughter, but sometimes i just need a break from watching her 24/7. My mom is an amazing woman. She's such a great mom and a great nana. She helped me out so much with heidi's baths, putting her down for naps, and giving me some loving advice about my husband. She even helped me get organized! Thats a major accomplishment. You should be proud of yourself mom! Anyways, i'm so glad we went to Dallas. I thank my husband for that gift. He paid for the tickets. Wish i didn't have to come home, for the simple fact that if i hadn't gotten on that dumb plane, i wouldn't have a major sinus infection right now!

So close to crawling!

Heidi is sooo close to crawling. Its killing me. I can't wait to see her crawling. I say that now and then when she actually starts crawling, i'll wish she was back to just rolling around on the floor. But...i'll get my workout and maybe lose some more weight, so that'll be a good thing. Last night, she walked on the kitchen floor with Daddy's help! Sometimes i think she will just skip crawling and start walking. : o Scary thought. I tried to get a video of her rolling all around and almost crawling...but she's too camera shy!

My litle burrito

: ) Last night, i put her on her belly and let her play with her teething ring. It was a little cold, so i wrapped her up like a little burrito. : ) She's so beautiful!! I love it when she looks at me all confused when i take her picture.

My sleepy Angel

She's been sooo sleepy today. First, she got tired in her bouncer. She was so tired that she laid her cheek on the chair part and rested there, with her hang dangling by her leg. : ) Then, she took a 10 minute cat nap and woke up with all smiles. And now, she is sleeping ever so peacefully in her swing. It is so wonderful to just watch her. She's too dang cute!

Eating

So last night, i gave Heidi some baby food in the instafeeder. She enjoyed it, but not for eating. She kept taking the nipple and rubbing on her gums. So, since she was just playing, and not eating, i went into the kitchen with her in arms, and started putting the food back in the jar. She grabbed the bottle while it was open and got her hands all in the food. Well, there was food on the side of the bottle, and she sucked it off. Hahaha. She's so funny. So, i thought, "Ok. i guess she is still hungry." So i put her in her vibrating chair, put a bib on her, and started spoon feeding her. She LOVED it. She kept opening her mouth for more. Meanwhile, as she was eating, she was literally putting her foot in her mouth. Yuck. What a mess. But it was still cute. : ) She ate almost the entire jar of sweet potatoes! I took a few pics of her messy face. I guess she was caught off gaurd or something cause those faces are priceless.

FEET

Ok. Heidi LOVES her feet and i can prove it! : ) She loves to sit in her swing and play with her feet. She can be occupied for atleast 20 minutes just doing that. Its nice cause i can get some things done around here and she can entertain herself. I can't believe she can put her foot on her cheek. Why can't we stay that flexible as adults? Wouldn't that be so much fun? Haha.

Camera girl, or not?

Sometimes, Heidi loves the camera. She'll see my getting it out to take a pic of her and she'll look at me until i take the picture. Then sometimes, she's shy and hides from me. I tried to take a pic of her when she was in her bouncer, and she hid her head behind one of the toys! : P Smart little girl!

My daughter is addicted to TV already! : P

So, i've been watching my little lady bug closely, and discovered that she is addicted to the TV already! Whether it be on the couch or on the bed, or in her bouncer, she keeps staring at the TV. Sometimes Josh will set her on his lap and try to play with her but she wont play because she's just staring at the TV. Its sooo funny. Josh will have to wave his hand infront of her face and then eventually she'll snap out of it. LOL. My daughter just makes me laugh on a day to day basis. She puts me in a good mood when i'm in a bad mood. What an amazing little girl. : )

Clingy much?

The past couple of days, Heidi has been soooo clingy! For instance, we went to lunch with a few girls on wednesday. I had to eat standing up while bouncing her. She wouldn't let even Deanna hold her, which is unusual. She normally lets Deanna hold her and bounce her. Nope. She just wanted her momma. Then yesterday, i couldn't even get ready without her wanting me. So, i put her in her snuggli and did my makeup and even vaccumed with her on my chest. LOL. I'm not complaining cause i love to be close to my daughter. Its just REALLY hard to get anything done when she's so clingy. Don't you just love her face in this picture? She's so silly!

Missing my mom

Today, i'm thinking of my mom. I can't wait to see her next saturday! I wish i was staying for more than a week, but i guess thats better than nothing. I don't think she expected me to call her on Mothers Day and tell her i was coming to visit. : ) Hope it was a nice suprise mom. My mom is awesome! She does so much for me. She's always giving me great relationship advice, and she's always giving me great mommy advice. I trust her opinion over anyone's. She's had 3 kids. She knows how to take care of them. If anyone thinks i'm a great mom, its because i always do what my mom tells me to do. : ) Everytime me and my mom get together, we have a blast. Whether its playing scrabble, or laughing at my husband falling in a bush without him knowing we are watching him. Hahaha. My mom knows exactly what i am talking about. Also, everytime we get together, something always makes us laugh real hard for atleast 10 minutes. I can't wait to see you mom! 9 more days!!!
